 Stratford CT Single Family Market Report June 2016

 

Stratford CT single family home sales for June 2016 INCREASED just 1.5% as compared to June 2015 sales but was the highest recorded month in over a year. Sales were also UP 26% from last month.  See annual chart below for better optics.


Listing and closed price averages were both UP 16%.  The median went UP 8%.  Read here about the difference between the sales average and median home price.

 

Days on the market went DOWN 2%.

 
The absorption rate for the month remained in a seller's market from last month. If there was no new inventory, it would take 3.38 months to sell off the active 230 listings.
